During the first week of 2010 we decided to go back in time to retrace the steps of American history. To do so we drove to Williamsburg, VA, Revolutionary City that invited us to step into the lives of everyday citizens facing extraordinary circumstances and let us experience first hand how things were done in the 18^th century. After several days of soaking in history, came the time to fulfill our kids’ dream to see the ocean. I don’t know what it was exactly that they expected, but they had hard time to hide their disappointment. “It looks just like Lake Michigan…” was their only comment. Virginia Aquarium was a good choice to cheer them up and give them a big dose of marine life.
