Our Neighbor Phyllis
There are many fall sessions waiting to be posted, but I thought about sharing a little inspiration today on the blog. I am constantly inspired by our amazing 93-year-old neighbor Phyllis. At her age she is still full of life, good energy, gratitude, optimism and youthful spring in her step. Phyllis spends her summer months here in Prairie du Sac, WI and winters in Florida. Both here and there she regularly plays tennis in several leagues and it was one of my goals for the past couple of years to capture her in action. Finally, last summer, I made it happen. I watched Phyllis playing doubles with three other guys (all of them decades younger of course) and scoring! With seemingly limitless energy she is also often the first to join kids when she sees them playing. It seems as if Phyllis forgot to grow old. If only we all could live a life into our 90s with such youthful attitudes and abilities. I hope I’ll be at least a little bit like her when I grow up. Enjoy the photos! and let me know what you think about our neighbor 🙂

Love this post about Phyllis! I sent it to my Mom up in New Richmond to show to Edna. 🙂
Phyllis is definitely one of a kind 🙂
