This post is way overdue, but better late than never… Heidi and Ric are our friends and CSA farmers. They’ve been providing us with local organic produce fresh from their farm for several years now and we’re truly grateful for that (and the eggs, and chickens, and hand made soaps and flour and the list doesn’t end…). I was so happy when I got a chance to create some outdoor family portraits for them last summer. We met at their farm for a quick but fun session. Heidi shared that she always wanted to have an “American Gothic” inspired portrait, so I was glad I could make her wish come true. They could barely hold those serious faces for so long though 🙂 Check out the last images below. And no, she didn’t stub Ric with that huge pitchfork… Doesn’t their garden look gorgeous though?
