I have something special to share with you on the blog today – awesome dance senior pictures of beautiful and talented Kate. This was such an unusual and fun session! Kate loves to dance and last year she shared with me that she dreamed about ballet senior portraits in the snow. Of course I loved the idea. We agreed to wait for the perfect day to make that dream come true this winter. Kate’s session happened on a recent snow day when the schools were cancelled. The snow was so wet that we knew her ballet shoes would get soaked very quickly but we made a decision to go for it anyway. With the weird weather were having this year we didn’t want to risk hoping for another perfect snowfall. And it all worked out wonderfully! I loved how Kate held on to her vision for these pictures and confidently braved the elements. Below you can see some of my favorites from our wintry adventure. I think more seniors should consider snowy sessions, they’re different, but not less fun! Thanks for being such an inspiration Kate and I’ll be looking forward to the second part of your senior session in a warmer weather 🙂
