Emily and Dave couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for their Wisconsin farm wedding. This was also a very special date because Emily’s grandma and aunt were married on the same day. I met the girls at Emily’s home where they were getting ready and then we drove to her friend Amanda’s farm where the ceremony took place. Emily was a little nervous at the beginning of the day but I could almost see all those tense feeling melt after their “first look”. She looked into Dave’s eyes and immediately started glowing with happiness.

The ceremony site was overlooking gently rolling hills and corn fields and it was nicely set up with straw bales for guests to sit on. It was a beautiful ceremony and I loved the idea of the unity tree watering. First Emily and Dave’s mothers followed by the wedding couple watered a small tree which later would be planted at their home to celebrate their marriage.

After the ceremony we walked around the farm for wedding party photos. We also had some time for a short break at the barn before heading to the reception at Dorf Haus in Roxbury, WI.  Emily and Dave, thank you so much for having me and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
