It all started at the UW Chemistry building about three years ago… Cherry and Tristan attended a TA class and were assigned seats next to each other. The sparks flew almost immediately and now, a few years later, they had their intimate UW Madison gardens wedding. It was a brief ceremony at the Botany Garden on University Ave (the officiant admitted that maybe it was the shortest ever in his experience). On a gorgeous spring day, with just the closest family members present Cherry and Tristan promised to love each other forever.

After exchanging the vows it was time for family photos and after that we took a walk around the campus looking for perfect locations for Bride and Groom portraits.

One of the stops was of course a TA office at the Chemistry building…

And the other – a laboratory where Cherry works researching frogs. When we walked through the long and narrow corridor she mentioned that sometimes when she’s there, she pretends it’s a runway or catwalk for models. This time I was able to capture that 🙂 Cherry was happy to see that her student checked off all the tasks she assigned them for the weekend.

Our last stop was Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery building where the reception took place.
