Amanda and Mark really wanted engagement pictures in the snow. Nature listened to their request, and for our first scheduled date it provided a huge snow storm. As a result, we had to postpone their winter engagement shoot for a week. The next snowstorm time came a day before our rescheduled session and we had an overabundance of snow when we finally met at Devil’s Lake State Park. The ground was blanketed so thick that we were limited on where we could go, there was just too much fresh snow everywhere!  We decided to use plowed parking lots and park roads as everything else involved walking, posing and shooting in the over knee-deep snow. We made it work though and did what we could with our limited options. There was something very romantic about the way Mark was trying his best to keep Amanda cozy and warm; and it seemed that with his arms around her she didn’t really notice it was cold. 🙂 Here are a few of their snowy engagement photos full of love.
