This was a spur of the moment session. Christian attends a high school in Iowa but his family was having a small reunion in Lodi, WI. His mom contacted me a few days before that weekend because the five brothers don’t get to see each other often and she thought it was a perfect opportunity to capture them together and combine Christian’s senior pictures with a few family portraits. I’m so glad we were able to meet on that warm and sunny morning… A couple of weeks later Christian was playing his last football game of his senior year and broke his neck in the game. Miraculously he survived. It will take some time to heal but he is going to be fine and make a full recovery. Christian is a very bright, kind and exceptional young man and I know life has a lot more in store for him. His mom shared how thankful she was that we had this impromptu session. This made me think how often we think of something, have some ideas but then find excuses why now it’s not a perfect time to go for it and do it. The truth is NOW is the only time we have, so don’t wait for all the stars to line up and just do it! 🙂 Enjoy the pictures!
