A lot of catching up is due on the blog! Today I want to share with you Carole and Mike’s extended family photos. This was the second time that I had a chance to work with this family (the first time was six years ago!). It was great to capture everybody together again, admire how much all the grand kids grew and meet the youngest two new granddaughters.

We’d been planning this session for a long time. It wasn’t the easiest task to schedule a date that would work for everybody. There was just one possible option and we were all happy that the weather cooperated that day. Everybody came beautifully dressed. I loved their styling and palette of coral, pale green and navy with some neutral colors thrown in.

We started with a few shots of the entire extended family together and then did a variety of other groupings. The possibilities were endless but we had to consider younger kids’ patience. 🙂 Carole and Mike, it was wonderful to photograph your family and experience the love, connection and fun you all share.
