Caribbean Vacations – Exploring the Islands
Last week we returned from a wonderful cruise sailing the Caribbean seas and visiting several colorful islands. Even though the weather was quite rainy and windy for the first few days, it was such a welcome break after all the snow and ice in Wisconsin. The ship got rocked quite strongly, we got wet several times but it was so worth it! Even more so because the cruise was combined with a wonderful workshop that both my husband and I attended. We had seminars on sea days and explored the islands when the ship was docked in different ports. Having my three favorite activities in one trip: learning new things, exploring and meeting inspiring people, I really couldn’t ask for more. The worst part of the trip was to say goodbye to all the joyful and bright people we met, but I’m grateful for all the happy memories that will stay with us.
Our first stop was St Thomas, US Virgin Island. Stunning light in a port, just moments before a huge downpour.
